The Cypress of Hilton Head is a premier retirement community offering luxury living & personalized care in the vacation town of Hilton Head Island. Design support for The Cypress spans multiple touchpoints, creating a consistent & welcoming brand experience across both healthcare & lifestyle communications. I provided freelance, contract design direction & brand support to ensure every visual element reflected The Cypress’s refined yet approachable existing brand identity, which balances professionalism with warmth across all materials.
This project began with a focus on unifying The Cypress’s visual language across its various service branches. This included creating a logo for their Home Health branch & developing deliverables that communicated care & comfort in its design. Print & Collateral: I Designed brochure layouts, rack cards, & newsletter templates that present key information with clarity while maintaining an inviting tone. Visual Style: I Refined typography, color, & layout systems to align healthcare materials with The Cypress’s established luxury brand aesthetic. In 2023, the branding extended to a more playful space with a custom banner created for LCS’s team-building scavenger hunt at an industry conference. The design illustrated Hilton Head Island in a colorful, cartoon-vector style, transforming local landmarks into a vibrant, interactive scene filled with a hidden items scavenger hunt for attendees to complete.

The refreshed Home Health identity & cohesive print system reinforce trust & warmth, while the illustrated event piece showcases the brand’s flexibility & creativity. The result is a unified visual presence that balances the existing brand with extra personality.
