Pattern Designs

Overview
Research & reflection guided the creation of three connected collections exploring facets of the western lifestyle market. I studied western wear, Native American artistry, & the textures of natural environments to inform each concept, balancing heritage with modern design sensibility.

Process
Collection 1 – The Wild Frontier Focus: Color Trends / Western Clothing Inspired by desert landscapes, this line features worn-in textures & earthy hues that highlight functionality & endurance. Collection 2 – Southwestern Mosaic Focus: New Pattern Layouts / Pottery Traditional Native American patterns are reimagined through ceramics, blending cultural reverence with modern composition. Collection 3 – Sunset Saloon Focus: Going Big / Metal Decor This bold collection explores large-scale metalwork with intricate motifs, capturing the strength & expressive spirit of the frontier.
Design Outcome & Results
Across all three collections, craftsmanship is the unifying thread. Each design feels tactile & connected to place & heritage. The work balances the raw with the refined, the natural with the crafted. Collections for My Career establishes a foundation for a creative practice within the western design market, honoring authenticity, sustainability, & artistry in every detail.
